God the Mother

When we look at all living organisms, we see the same pattern: life comes from a father and mother. This is true for plants, animals and human beings. But ultimately, the mother is the one who gives life to their children.

God made it this way to show us that, even spiritually, we can only receive eternal life through God the Mother (Rev 4:11).

“They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.”

Elohim in the Bible

God the Mother’s existence can be clearly seen not only through the creation but also throughout the Bible—from the first chapter.

“Then God said, ‘Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us.’ ... So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”

Genesis 1:26–27 (NLT)

Elohim

אֱלֹהִים

When God created human beings, He said, “Let us.” This shows that God is more than one. God created males and females as a reflection of the male and female images of God: God the Father and God the Mother.

That is why the original Hebrew text refers to God as Elohim, which means Gods. Elohim—God the Father and God the Mother—have been working together for our salvation since the creation of the world, but according to the Bible, the last days is the time for God the Mother to be revealed.

The Bride

In the last days, the Spirit, who is God the Father, and the Bride are to appear together and call Their children to receive the water of life—eternal life. According to Revelation, the Bride is Jerusalem our Mother.

“The Spirit and the Bride say, ‘Come!’ ... and whoever wishes, let them take the free gift of the water of life.”

Revelation 22:17

“But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.”

Galatians 4:26

God the Mother

Just as all children receive life from their mothers, it is God’s will for the children of God to receive eternal life from God the mother and enter Heaven. The World Mission Society Church of God is the only church that believes in God the Mother.
