The World Mission Society Church of God was established by the Second Coming Christ, Ahnsahnghong. Since its establishment in 1964, the Church of God has rapidly spread throughout 175 countries, growing to 7,800 churches worldwide.

The Church of God began in South Korea, a far off land in the east, in accordance with Biblical prophecies. It has now been established in all regions of the USA, with churches located in every state. The South Central Region of the church consists of 5 states: Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arkansas and Louisiana. The church located in Arlington, Texas carries out the role of being the center church.

The Church of God believes in God the Father and God the Mother as testified in the Bible. One distinguishing factor is the church also keeps the New Covenant established by Jesus, which grants the forgiveness of sins and eternal life. Just as the apostles followed the example of Christ and observed teachings such as the Sabbath and Passover, members of the Church of God also follow Christ’s teachings and make it a priority to keep these holy commands.

Only by studying the scriptures can one gain an understanding of God’s plan for salvation. The members actively participate in worldwide evangelism by regularly hosting Bible studies and seminars. Evangelists are eagerly sharing the gospel in their schools, communities, workplaces and even fulfill the preaching mission abroad. All of this is in fulfillment of Jesus’ words, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached to the whole world as a testimony to all nations…” (Mt 24:14).

The Church of God’s mission is to become the salt and light of the world. The members in the Southeastern Region spread love in their communities by carrying out various volunteer activities and blood drives throughout the year. As Heavenly Mother has set the example of love, the members believe it is the God given mission to do all things with the heart of a Mother.

According to the prophecy in Rev 22:17, the Spirit and the Bride, God the Father and God the Mother, are calling all who are thirsty to receive the free gift of the water of life.
